Barnsley Dearne Community Partnership

The Barnsley Dearne Community Partnership serves the villages of Bolton-Upon-Dearne, Goldthorpe, Highgate and Thurnscoe and is made up of local residents, people who work in the area, local elected members, local groups and service providers.

Through the co-operation and involvement of the local community, Barnsley Dearne Community Partnership would like to:

• Create employment and opportunities through education, training and leisure interests.
• Combat crime and the fear of crime
• Combat poverty and improve the social and physical environments in which we live
• Involve the community in the decision-making processes associated with social and economic regeneration
