Bolton-upon-Dearne and Goldthorpe steering Group is a sub-group of the Barnsley Dearne Community Partnership.
Its aims to support, direct and oversee the work of the Community Involvement Co-ordinator, to support and sustain community groups within the Bolton-upon-Dearne and Goldthorpe communities in their effort to meet local needs, to work with groups within the local communities assisting their engagement with available regeneration resources and opportunities, to help and support community groups with business planning and the development of new projects and to co-ordinate and promote a cohesive approach to community initiatives.
Membership of the group is open to community groups who wish to actively participate in achieving the group's aims and objectives.
