Thurnscoe Combined Community Group

Thurnscoe Combined Community group is a sub-group of the Barnsley Dearne Community Partnership and was formed by merging the H1 Implementation group and the Thurnscoe Consortium.

Its aims are to support and sustain community groups within the Thurnscoe Combined Community Group communities in their effort to meet local needs, to work with groups within the local communities assisting their engagement with available regeneration resources and opportunities, to help and support community groups with business planning and the development of new projects and to co-ordinate and promote a cohesive approach to community initiatives.

The group is open to community groups who wish to actively participate in achieving the group’s aims and objectives.
